My birthday is on 30th of Dec.

I had a plan to have the party at Grantville on the night of the 29th, but quite a few people are saying they may not be able to come.

So this is a general call out, to see who can come to a party at Grantville that night, and who can't.

Then I can figure out where best to have it.

Hellooo All...

As most of you know I will be doing something a little crazy next weekend.

I'm taking part in the OxFam trailwalker, walking 100km from early friday morning until saturday afternoon.

You'll all be at the house-warming while I am staggering across the finish, so I can't ask you to be there to cheer me on, but since it is a walk for charity here is the online link if you are interested in donating:

I'm in the early stages of organising a ski trip to New Zealand for a week or so in winter this year.

If anyone else wants to come along that would be awesome :)

Well, I've bought a ticket to Earthcore.

I kept saying to people the only reason I would go back would be if the lineup kicked ass...

and it appears to be kicking pretty well.

Talamasca, Space Tribe (will there be coloured fire??) , Electric Universe, Protoculture, DAVE the drummer. Plus a whole bunch more that will be quite good.

So, who else is considering it?

Stressful crazy work time is over...for the moment.

Feels like the past 2 weeks has just been a blur of time.

Which is weird considering that there was a weekend in the middle there...

Today proved once again that I am awesome at my job.

Haven't been proud of my work for a while (been understaffed for months and quality always suffers then).

So I've moved house now, and despite the rather epic cost, I am so damn happy with my new place.

I actually feel proud of my house, something I haven't felt for quite some time.

The past few months have seemed so long, and now I can finally relax and not stress about home.

If only that could translate across to my work now too, but I am finding it a lot easier to deal with work stress now I don't have issues at home to deal with.

I'm going to attempt to write in LJ again, more than once every 2-3 months anyway...

Anyone want to take bets how long that lasts?

Actually I do have something to post :)

Last night I went back to Kung Fu again (which was awesome).

I was just strapping up my hands when who comes and sits next to me but...

Ben, the guy who organised Neverland!

Turns out that he was the one who got AJ into that particular Kung Fu school in the first place, he was just as surprised as I was.

After we all finished up, AJ, Ben and I decided to go for drinks, and walking along he mentioned that the partner I was doing sparring with that night had actually been at Neverland as well. I hadn't remembered him, but thinking about it now I think I do. I'm not sure if he remembers me, I think he might cause I'm sure he's given me a strange look once or twice.

The placewe went to for drinks (thanks to AJ's suggestion) was awesome, nice bar, good staff and good enviroment. So finally I have another bar in the city I like, and it's not stupidly expensive like Moo Bar.
